Terms Summary

USER01 is a privacy-first encrypted messenger with a local identity vault, content-blind relay, and optional Arbitrum subscription.

Last updated: 2026-06-10

Service Scope

USER01 provides encrypted messaging tools, local browser identity storage, peer key exchange, relay routing, free-tier quotas, and optional paid access on Arbitrum One.

USER01 is not a custody service, exchange, broker, investment service, emergency communications service, or guaranteed archival storage service.

User Responsibility

You control your local identity, choose peers, create content, and decide what to transmit. You are responsible for using USER01 lawfully and for the content, files, wallet actions, and peer interactions you initiate.

Prohibited Use

USER01 must not be used for:

  • Child exploitation or sexual content involving minors.
  • Terrorism, violent extremism, credible threats, targeted harassment, or unlawful incitement.
  • Malware, credential theft, botnets, fraud, scams, phishing, or unauthorized access.
  • Doxxing, stalking, non-consensual intimate content, blackmail, or coercive abuse.
  • Intellectual-property abuse, sanctions evasion, money laundering, or other financial crime.
  • Any activity illegal in a jurisdiction that applies to the user or service operation.

Self-Custody

USER01 identity keys are generated and stored locally in the browser and protected by a PIN. There is no central password recovery. Losing the PIN, clearing browser data, or losing the device may permanently remove access to the local identity and readable local history.

Service Limits

USER01 may restrict, suspend, rate-limit, revoke, or update access where needed for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, service integrity, or reliability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, USER01 is provided "as is" and "as available." Nothing here excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
